Position Summary

As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving the womens soft separates and dresses business developing new business opportunities and growing existing new accounts. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly successful manufacturer specialising in woven and jersey soft separates from day to evening.

The ideal candidate will be a Sales Manager or Key Account Manager with a proven track record in the womens young fashion market, working with an established network of contacts with leading high street retailers to achieve sales targets.

Main Responsibilities

Drive new business opportunities whilst developing new existing accounts.
Maintain and build new customer relationships.
Product development and range building.
Sourcing of fabric and trims, meeting with fabric agents and mills.
Preparation of garment costings.
Negotiate prices, lead times and minimums with buyers based on 6-8 week lead times.
Work closely with the womenswear design team to develop soft separates product.
Raise and process sales orders.
Liaise closely with the production team.
Oversee and monitor the critical path for all products.
Continual market and trend research.

Essential Skills

Sales Manager or Key Account Manager with a minimum of 3 years experience in supplier sales and high street fashion encompassing womens soft separates.
Ability to leverage existing contacts with high street fashion retailers.
Proven track record in achieving sales targets.
Experience briefing and working hand in hand with designers.
Excellent knowledge of soft separates fabrics.
Self-starter with an entrepreneurial flair and current contacts.
Ability to effectively manage timescales, workload and priorities and those of the designer.
